Due to the large amount of services we offer to our clients, Charlie's has split into two separate companies that work as one to provide the best care possible.
This means there will be no change to any of the services our clients currently receive, however, we can now offer a wider range of support and run the company more efficiently.
Having two separate sides to the same company also means packages can be more personalised and changed to suit our customers needs better than before, for example, instead of hiring us for cleaning, another company for care and another to walk your dog, we do all three! Taking the hassle out of getting the support needed.
At charlie's, we offer befriending services for anyone who may be going through a tough time or need some support. Our staff can visit and discuss the problems that people may be facing, or even just come over for a cuppa!
We provide care services for vulnerable and elderly people who may need some support to get through each day, whilst, remaining confident and as independent as possible. Each care plan is different and tailored towards the client to ensure they get the best care.
We include optional extras in our packages that allow customers to get the most out of our staff. These include shopping calls, cleaning calls, going on walks, playing board games etc. Each activity aligns with the customers personal interests and capabilities to keep them safe and happy with their service.
We encourage all potential clients to email us, including your name and a short summary of your query, needs or other relevant information, for us to provide you with an information pack, quote or to arrange a time for a free introduction call/ meeting. It is important that any care is best suited to the client's needs, therefore, we like to meet and discuss plans before they happen, to ensure that all parties involved are on the same page.
We ensure that there is always a staff member available to call if an incident or event may occur that requires assistance or that needs to be reported to management. This helps keep both staff and client safe and avoid any confusion or loss of information. However, we will only be open to new clients and enquiries Monday through till Friday, 9am till 5pm.
At Charlie’s Ltd, we believe it is imperative that all care plans are tailored to the needs of the customer. Before we provide any of our services, we arrange to meet or call to discuss the client's goals, expectations and needs and work together to create a plan that puts them first. Everything should be bespoke to the customer, from what type of drink is preferred to what care needs to be provided, to ensure they are safe and well-known by all the staff.
Our prices are flexible depending on the amount of care and needs required. We provide a basic quote from the information we receive before meeting, then after we discuss a care plan and any requirements needed, we then look at the final cost of the customers personalised package. Prices may change if needs increase or decrease, however, we always try to base the amounts around the client's budgets.
At Charlie’s Ltd, we understand that plans and needs may change for better or for worse. We want to support our clients through any time and will hold regular meetings or check in calls to assess their situation and look for any changes that may need to be made to the care plan. This may include adding a befriending call to clients who have been reported to seem lonely, or decreasing care calls and increasing befriending call if our staff have noticed that someone is becoming more independent but still need company and support in another way. No changes are made without a meeting with the client and their opinion and written consent.
All meetings, phone calls and emails or text messages are kept to a need-to-know basis to ensure that each clients confidentiality is maintained. Any paperwork is kept under lock and key, passwords are only known by the management team and care plans are only changed under written consent from the customer or management team (with customers approval, on their behalf).
