At Charlie’s we provide domiciliary services for those who need it. These services include personal care, small home cleaning jobs, meals and medication administration, and can include multiple calls a day.
The calls are split into morning, lunch, tea and bed calls. This helps separate a customer's day into portions and give them a routine to stick by and rely on. Everything carers do in each call is logged in case of emergencies or any problem that may occur, paperwork is filled out for each medication administered, for all food and drink given and anything else that the carers on the next call would need to know.
In each client's house, there will be PPE ready for the carers and other equiptment necessary to care for them as best as possible. There will also be a folder in each customer's home, this will include their care plan and medication records. If a customer notices that some information in the folder is incorrect or missing, then it is imperative that they contact the main office to ensure that the paperwork is found and corrected.
